Sheldon Manors is the definitive digital resource for manorial descents in a defined geographic area of southern England. The coverage area runs from Chichester in the west to Havant in the east, from Portsdown Hill in the north to the Solent coast in the south.

- Manor profiles: every documented manor in the coverage area with chain of lords, tenurial obligations, institutional connections, and source bibliography
- Interactive map: all manors plotted on OpenStreetMap
- Network view: connections between manors through castle service, shared priories, and administrative structures
- Search: across manor names, lord names, parishes, and institutions
- PDF reports: downloadable branded dossiers for each manor

## Research Programme

Our research programme works systematically through the published VCH volumes for Hampshire and Sussex, cross-referencing each manorial descent against the Manorial Documents Register, Inquisitions Post Mortem, Feudal Aids, and primary records held at county record offices.
